The platform acts solely as an intermediary to connect users with advocates from the associated Law Firms for initial consultation and guidance purposes only.

No court appearances, case filings, formal representation, follow-ups, or any legal proceedings are offered or facilitated through the platform.

All interactions and guidance occur directly between the user and the advocate. LegalTry does not supervise, control, participate in, or assume responsibility for the content, timing, quality, or outcome of any consultation.

We aim to ensure efficient facilitation of connections in a structured manner, subject to the advocate’s availability and professional judgment. No specific timelines or outcomes are guaranteed, as legal matters depend on individual circumstances.

We fully comply with the Bar Council of India Rules, including Rule 36 of Chapter II, Part VI, and do not engage in solicitation or advertising of legal services in any form.

In limited cases, processing may rely on legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act (such as security, fraud prevention, and platform integrity).

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal affects only future processing and does not impact the lawfulness of prior processing.

The specific advocate from the associated Law Firms assigned to your query (only minimal information required for connection, such as name, contact details, and query summary)

Legal authorities, courts, or government bodies when required by law or valid order

No sharing occurs with unrelated third parties or for marketing purposes. Any international data transfers comply with DPDP Act safeguards.

5. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade technical, organizational, and physical safeguards, including:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable

Strict access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection

Regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and monitoring

Employee training and confidentiality obligations

While we maintain rigorous standards, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act.
